hi just had a baby..she s now 8 weeks old..and my problem is, I ve noticed that my right breast is bigger now than my left breast..due to breast feeding my newborn baby..I need help please as this problem is freaking me out please..what should i do to make them even again please?
Changes in breast size are very normal during the postpartum period and breastfeeding.
If you constantly notice that the right breast is more enlarged and engorged, then the possibility of incomplete evacuation of milk from that breast need to be considered.
Make sure your baby feeds from both side of breast equally. And you can also try manually draining milk or use an electric pump. If pain, redness develops it is indicative of infection (mastitis), in which case follow up with your ObGyn.
