Can An Antibiotic Course Cause Discomfort In Vaginal Area?

Hello. About 3 weeks ago I finished an antibiotic for a bacterial infection caused by an off balanced ph. It was a 14 day supply, taken twice a day. I have an iud, this is my 2nd one and I m about 2 years in. Stable relationship, normal sexual activity (although that has recently changed due to discomfort). Since finishing the medication I have experienced the most discomfort in my vaginal area, this discomfort is heightened when I urinate and commence to wipe. While the brownish-red discharge on my tissue isn t there everyday, out of 21 days I ve seen it about 12. Matter of fact, it happened a week then went away and has just started up again. Although I can t say with certainty it was those pills, I do know I have never experienced this before...any ideas?
