Hello doctor I am Vasanthi from Bangalore currently residing in Malaysia. My son is 1year 2 months now. While he was about 7 months he lost weight and doctor suggested cerelac. Now he has got so accustomed to cerelac that he needs only that all 4 times and eats nothing. Other. Things he creates lot of fuss. I giving him 4scoops each time. Is it safe to give 4-5 times a day with4scoops each time. Will it cause any issue?? Moreover still he has not started walking, he is doing in.walk only. Kindly suggest Vasanthi
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Cerelac is good upto certain age. After 1 year, child needs additional nutrients from fruits, vegetables, grains etc. So along with Cerelac, you should also start mashed vegetables, fruits, grains etc for additional nutritional demands. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your child. Thanks.
