Can An Itchy, Red Bug Bite On Forearm Treated With Antibiotics?

I have a bug bit of unknown origin to my left forearm. Itches, and now is surrounded by reddened tissue about the size of a half dollar. could this be something that should be treated with systemic antibiotics, or could i try something like triminicolin or bactroban?

Hello

This is probably just an allergic reaction to the bite but if the redness continues to spread after two days it could be an inection and you'd need the oral antibiotics
