Can An Old Head Injury Cause Headache And Nose Pain?

Hi doctor, I have unexplained pain of the nose bridge accompanied by a headache for the second day. Feels like I was punched on the upper face, but it did not happen. However, I had a very hard fall on the back of my head over a month ago. Could it be related?

Hello!
Welcome to HealthCareMagic!

Yes it is possible for a head injury to cause a headache long after it has occurred. Headaches can last up to six months after a head injury.
However, your headache and nose pain might be unrelated to your fall.

A proper diagnosis is important so that the right treatment is chosen. I would recommend a CT Brain so that any fracture or active bleeding can be ruled out and other causes of headache and nose pain can be looked into.

I hope this helps!
