Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

As you probably imagine, fecal matter has a lot of bacteria in it, and accidental transmission to the vagina of fecal matter can put you at risk for a vaginal infection.

You did the right thing by attempting to wash the area well afterwards, however, be on the lookout for symptoms such as foul-smelling or yellow/green vaginal discharge, itching, or irritation. If you do not develop these symptoms within a week, it is unlikely that you have any complications or an infection.

In the future, nothing should be placed inside the vagina that is not clean. If you and your partner desire to continue having anal sex as a part of your routine, it is important that your partner wash himself with soap and water after anal penetration before inserting himself in the vagina, or he should wear a condom and remove and/or change it. Having your partner wash his hands as well will reduce the risk of infection.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question adequately today and that this information was helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown

hi, thanks for writing.. There is chance of vaginal infection following anal sex as the microbes from the anal canal enters the vagina.. With washing some microbes will go but still the chance is high.. so i would suggest to go for anal sex alone or vaginal sex after washing his genetalia.. hope i have answered your query.. thanks..
