what is an anteverted mobile uterus? I have just turned 56, 5ft 1, and weigh 10st 2lb. I take Bendroflumethiazide 2.5mg and Yentreve 20mg once a day. for 17 years I took Prenpack C from the age of 36 then began Premique in March of this year but I have had bleeding. I had 2 normal preganancies at 19 and 20, only had my tonsils removed at 5 and otherwise in good health.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The bleeding is more likely due to the breakthrough effect, which is sometimes seen during the initial months of treatment with this medication. The fact that you have lost much weight in recent times, if you are not on any weight loss regimen, should be considered important. If the bleeding does not subside, please contact your consultant for proper evaluation and further management. The alignment of the uterus with respect to the cervix is denoted by anteversion/retroversion; an anteverted uterus being angled forward and vice versa. Mobile uterus is a normal observation during a bimanual examination and indicates healthy adnexae with no adhesions etc. Hope this helps.
