Can Any Online Doctor Help In Reading Ultrasound Report?
dear doctor, my query is about an ultrasound report which shows single live intrauterine fetus is seen with cephalic presentation at the time of study , placenta is posterior,grade 0 maturity, its lower margin is reaching up to internal o s at present. what does this means

Report suggests that patient is suffering from low lying placenta.You didn't mentioned age of the fetus.Patient should have follow up scan to confirm migration of placenta from internal os.In most of the cases placenta migrates from internal os if pregnancy is early.You don't worry.It can be manged well.You should consult your gynecologist.
Other findings are normal.Fetus is cephalic in presentation at present means head of fetus towards maternal pelvis.
Placenta is posterior in position with grade 0 maturity.
