I have to know the scan report regards the following whether it is normal or not?. Intramural myoma posterior body wall thickness is 6.4cmX5.8cm and submucous myoma in the fundal region measurement is 2.4cmX2.5cm.. Endometrium thickness is 1.7cm. and the ovaries size are normal no free fluid in pelvis . please do the need ful
Hello, As per your sonogram report, you have two myomas or fibroids in the uterus, one in the muscle on the back of the uterus and is big enough to be removed, while the other is below the mucosa on the inner surface toward the upper part or fundus of the uterus and is comparatively smaller in size. The endometrium is thicker and is perhaps suggestive of the hormonal excess while the ovaries are normal. Please correlate clinically with your gynecologist regarding further management.
