I have arthritis all over my body. It started in 69/70 as a result of a broken toe. I ve been told different things; that arthritis can and does spread over time and others say it does not spread. Also I have degenrative arthritis in my elbows. I believe it is caused by the injury, but military (VA) doctors tend to deny this.

Arthritis which is occurring in all part of the body is due to rheumatoid arthritis or GOUT or post viral. I would suggest you to get ESR, CRP and RA factor to confirm the diagnosis. If it comes positive then you can start with Disease modifying medicines like SAZ, or HCQ.
