Can Bacteria Cause Black Stains In All Developing Baby Tooth Or Something Else?

MY 9MTH OLD HAS BLACK STAINS ON HIS BABY TEETH. I TOOK HIM TO THE DENIST AND THEY SAID IT WAS JUST BACTERIA AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT OFF IS WITH THE DENTISTS TOOLS. EVERY NEW TOOTH THAT COMES IN TURNS TO BE SLIGHTLY BLACK. COULD THIS BE A MORE CONCERNING PROBLEM THEN WHAT THE DENTIST STATES?
