Can Being Easily Scared And Fainting Ever Since Sustaining A Head Injury, Be A Cause For Concern?

Hi, recently I have fainted an hit my head. Since this has happened I have noticed that I have become increasingly frightened, I have arachnophobia and saw a spider today I usually get slightly scared and walk away, but when I saw it i screamed and it felt like my stomach dropped. I am easily scared now when my friends sneak up on me I use to never be scared until I fainted, is this a result of me hitting my head and doing some sort of damage to my brain?
