Welcome to Healthcare Magic
There are many reasons for bad breath. It can be caries tooth, tonsillitis, rhinitis, sinusitis etc. It would be wise to get a check up by your ENT Doctor to rule these out. Also do get a tongue cleaner and gently clean your tongue everyday while brushing. Drink plenty of water.

Hi,

First it should be understood that bad breath occurs due to many causes like poor oral hygiene, decayed teeth, sinusitis, pharyngitis, gastro-disorders, liver disorder, kidney disorders. The cause has to be determined and treated. Maintenance of proper oral hygiene is very important.Scaling of teeth should be done once in 6 months, change your tooth brush once in 3 months, clean your tongue using tongue cleaner after brushing, consult your dentist once in 6 months.Bifilac is a probiotic which should be taken on prescrition of a physician.

bad breath or halitosis can be caused by many factors but mainly it happens due to periodontal problems i.e. problems due to inflammed gums.majority of patients can be treated just by going for scaling done by a dentist.later some medications like mouthwash, medicated toothpaste, astringent ,vitamin c e.t.c may be prescribed . it should be a routine procedure after every 6 months.bad breath is mainly caused by plaque & calculus deposition & please dont neglect it as problems of gums are associated with many systemic diseases like heart attack,diabetes..etc...
