Can Birth Control Pills Be Taken Even During Menstruation?
I started taking birth control right before my period started. I have now been on my period for about 12 days. I have continued to take the birth control throughout the period in hopes it would stop my period. What do you think is the best thing to do? Should I stop taking the birth control?
hello, i can understand your concern. the best way possible is to stop the contraceptive pills now. this will lead to a bit of withdrawal bleeding and eventually the bleeding would stop in a few days. once the bleeding stops if you are using combined oral contraceptive pills, take it for 21 days and stop it for 7 days. continue this way in each cycle. hope you are satisfied with the response. thanks for choosing HCM
