hi,



i have been experiencing neck pain, upper back pain, weight gain, spotting here and there, occasional heartburn. recently stoped taking my birth control pills as they were making me have my periods every other week. my periods have not been the same lately at all

Birth control pills can cause menstrual irregularities and spotting especially on the initial days of usage. It can also cause weight gain due to water retention caused by hormonal action. You can take progesterone only pills instead of conventional estrogen progesterone combined pills, which has got less chance for such side effects.
