Can Bleach Cause Breathlessness With Burning Eyes And Nostrils?
i am an supervisary aide in an elementary school. when the custodian uses bleach it seems like she uses the 1/10 formula, she uses it in reverse. she uses it so strong that it takes my breath and burns my eyes and nostrils bad. i keep asking the principal if she has to use bleach and he says well, thats all the boe sends them .i have missed several days of work because of this crap.. lots of children have asthma ,continuelly have plugged up noses or runny noses . i suspect strongly that bleach fumes have a lot to do with that problem. the fumes are coming from the downstairs cafeteria, and all children and staff are on next floor and fumes are strong..i want to copy your answer and show it to him and BOE. thanks

The symptoms that is all the children are having of asthma runny nose may be due to the fumes but this need to be confirmed with clinical examination and without this one can not be sure for this, it is some how matter of investigation, hope this information helps, take care.
