Can Blister In Eyes With Redness, Getting Better With Advil, Be Serious?

I developed a large blister suddenly on my right eye covering the area between the Irs and the bottom quarter of the outside part of the exposed cornea. I think it was from some plant I was groomiing out of my dog when I rubbed my eyes. I washed out my eyes and have been taking drops and advil. Seems to be gettinig better, redness went away mostly. Feels better but blister is still there. Will it go away eventually or should i go see a doctor?
