Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can Blood In Urine Be A Side Effect When Diagnosed With Bronchitis?
I was prescribed doxycycline Hylcate 100mg for a recent bout of bronchitis. Now I am experiencing symptoms of an UTI (show of light blood when wiping). I still have some of the medication left and wonder if I begin retaking it, would it help clear up the UTI?
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns. Do you have burning urination? any increased frequency of urine? It is not a wise decision to start antibiotics without proper consultation. You definitely needs to be examined clinically. there is need to get the URINALYSIS along with FBC. Meet your physician. Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Get well soon Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask Regards Dr Saad Sultan
