Can Blood Post A Bowel Movement Suggest Colon Cancer?
20 yr, Female 5'3" 138lbs, medium build, ovarian cancer in family, College student so stressed, have been experiencing bright blood in toilet water and on toilet paper after a normal bowel movement, i have no pain at all, have had trouble sleeping but have been napping a little more than usual, maybe an hour or so.. My grandmother has chronic hemorrhoids. Im concerned, I'm so young so i doubt it is anything with colon cancer.. could it be internal hemorrhoids or IBD?
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your bowl movements.
You don't need to suggest a medical extreme conditions at its first stage. There are hundreds of causes of blood in stools and least important cause is lower GI CA at your age level.
First cause to be ruled out us hemorrhoids, if you have constipation or take less fibrous food it can be because of this.
There can be any protistian I fiction like gardiasis that too cause bleeding in stools.
You need to get an USG done for proper diagnosis. In case there is any further investigation like colonoscopy need you must go for it.
Visit a general surgeon for more assistance. There are. Least chances of cancer at your age related to colon.
