Avoid high content of salt foods like pickles, papad, tinned/processed food, fast food, increase the amount of potassium in your diet.
Caffeine intake should be minimised. Drink at least 4 liters of water daily, avoid
smoking /limit alcohol intake, keep a check on your weight -
overweight is an invitation to
hypertension, eat healthy foods that are lower in fat, as well as plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. It can help you to lower your blood pressure.
Take proper 8 hrs sleep, start monitoring your blood pressure daily at same timings, make a proper chart for consecutive 7 days. Take 5 min rest before taking blood pressure. Take your medications regularly.
