Hi I am Polynesians when I was 19 years old i was diagnosed by an overseas eye specialist with congenital cataract on my Rt eye.I am 31 years old now with a family.I can still see but I know my right eye just don't be bother to see at all.I went for an eye check but I don't know what my visual acuity is,but when I look at the letters to check my vision from a six meters distance,my vision was totally blurred.Am I blind already? Will it be fixed?
cataract should have been operated imiditly after diagnosis. now it can be operated but the eye has already developed amblyopia. still go for surgery other wise it will develop other complication.
