Okay so I m currently 9mo Post Partum and I got my period back on Jan and I missed it in March, I ve taken sever HPT and they re all neg. I assumed it was bc my HCG levels are in my milk and then not enough in my urine to detect. I go to Doc next week, but decided to put my breastmilk on a test and BFP... well I wondered. So I unthawed some milk from February and I got a VERY faint positive like it could be mistaken for a BFN. Wondering if in fact I m pregnant or my prolactin levels messed up.
During normal breastfeeding; there is no chances of alteration of the hypothalamus or pituitary axis causing false pregnancy test, unless particular hormone medicines are being consumed for specific reasons.
