Can Broken Vertebrate On Lower Back Lead To Bleeding, Itchy And Painful Black Hole On Top Of Butt Crack?
Hi, I noticed at the very top of my buttcrack line, there is a black hole that hurts to touch and sometimes itchy and is bleeding a lot. There was no puss or any pimply fluid coming out. Im not sure what it means. I also have a broken vertabrae on my lower back, my L5 and S1, and a slipped disc. Does it have anything to do with my injury or?
I am quite empathetic to itchy and painful black hole on top of butt crack. After reading your query it seems that you have pilonidal cyst/sinus.
This is quite common to find it at lower back due to excess of hair or closed apposition of skin between the two areas at this region. This is a harmless lesion otherwise but it can sometimes get infected. It can be associated with pain, discomfort and discharge. In your case a course of oral antibiotics is required such as ciprofloxacin or cefadroxyl for 7-14 days. As you have a sinus tract so you need to meet a surgeon at the earliest to get removal of the entire sinus tract.
Do not try to pinch or pop the area as it can get further aggravated.
Take care.
