Can Cancer Cause Lower Back Pain?
I have had two bladder cancer surgeries, followed up with 3 treatments of BCG. I am having lower back aching, can t decide if it is the result of cancer or something with my lower back(spine). I am scheduled for a scoping of the bladder on May10. What are some the questions I should ask the doctor? He is a very reputable urologist. Ray Hastings

your backache may be due to the side effect of bcg treatment. your doctor will conduct a blood test to rule out any bladder infection. the pain might not be due to cancer.
in your next visit you can ask if you have developed side effect of bcg, or if the bladder cancer has returned or if the pain is related to cancer.
