Can Canker Sore Be Related To Sore Throat And Headaches In A Child?
Hello! I just picked my daughter, who is 8, up from school, because of complaint of a headache, sore throat, and now a canker sore. She is also complaining of a stomach ache. I had asked when the last time she had a bowel movement and she doesn t remember. My daughter has been having this headache and sore throat with stomach now every s six months and the last time our doctor put her on a steroid, because they couldn t find what was wrong with her. I keep looking online for answers and even a medical book. I keep getting either influenza or a psychological disorder.

Hi,
A canker sore also called aphthous ulcers may due to stress or infection or vitamin B12 deficiency or anemia etc.
Upper respiratory tract infection may be due to viral pharyngitis.
Avoid cool drinks and cold water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day.
Use Dentacain gel locally on the ulcers. Use vitamin B complex supplements.
Use Paracetamol according to body weight. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
