Hi, I am a 48 year old female. And a 30 year, ongoing smoker. I have had two stents placed in my LAD. The first in 2001 the second in 2010. The first placement, I had 99% blockage in my LAD. The second, a clot was stuck in the stent. About a year and a half ago I began work out regimen by joining a gym and played tennis once per week. I lost 47 lbs. and felt the best I have in my life. I was never able to quit the smoking, but will continue to try. Each day I take the following meds: a baby aspirin (81 mg) Clopidogrel (75 mg), Metoprolol (50 mg), Atorvastatin (80 mg), Ranitidine (150 mg) and a fish oil tablet. I have not worked out for 4+ months, I ve gained approximately 25 lbs back, and currently weigh about 190, I m 5 9. My question is, I ve started to work out again (only at home with a personal trainer app, focusing mostly on toning exercises) however, I know the best benefit for me is cardio training - I want to begin some type of cardio work out @ home, without equipment (other than a bicycle) - my question is - is it best for me to begin a running regimen within 15 minutes of waking up in the morning? Or would this be a dangerous decision? Thank you for any input, I appreciate it! Sandi
