Can Cataract Surgery Be Done By Using Only Numbing Drops For An Elderly Lady?
My cousin has to get cataract surgery. The doctor does not want to give her twilight only numbing drops. She is 87 years old and has heart problems and wheezing. Is is OK to do this without putting her out. Will she be able to tolerate it without getting sicker on the table. I am worried that she will not be able to do this. Please advise.
