Can Cerelac Be Fed Twice A Day For Infant Or Variety Of Food Like Mashed Apple Is Advisable?
Hi doc, My boy baby is 6 months running. He was exclusively breastfeed. From last week I have started with him to give semi solid food like, I started with boiled and mashed apple, he liked it. Then recently I started giving cerelac (wheat) and he loves it. I used feed him per day apple once and then cerelac once. My mother is suggesting to feed him cerelac twice daily as he also insists me to give. Is that fine? And please suggest me what still I can feed him (semi solid/solid) as he will be bored with only couple of food now? Please suggest me...waiting for the reply. Thanks.
Hi, Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. You can supplement your baby with all type of boiled vegetables like mashed carrot, potato, beans,...etc. Soft Dal khichidi or RAGI is also best. You can safely give cerelac. But do not forget to continue breastfeed till he is 2 years of old. Please ask if you have more questions. If you are satisfied, please make sure that your ACCEPT my answer so that I receive credit. Good luck!!
