Her DR, suggesting to change medicine to 1) 2 no istamed(50/1000), 2) 1 no D-aztor ( her B.P is 120/100 and takes 2 no losar-50 daily) Will it be fruitful to change medicine?
Hello, As far as diabetes medicines are concerned,it is same, however since the blood pressure is high ( 120/100 ),it is advised to take blood pressure medicine ( losar - 50 ) since target blood pressure should be below 120/80. I tablet of ISTAVEL 100 and 2 tablets of CETAPIN 1000 is equal to 2 tablets of ISTAMET 50/1000. You should definitely go for change of medicine. Thanks
