Suggest Treatment For Type 2 Diabetes

My nutrionist said I have diabets type 2 and I think she should try first a diet before giving me Metformin 500mg starting for two weeks 1 a day with the breakfast. I am not taking because I feel scared about the side effects, mainly the one about lactosis. I don't want to take, I don't even know what the level is. She didn't tell me. Just asked me to eat brown "everything" (bread, rice) but I don't know if I am eating at least the 1000 calories required on the Metformin Label. Tell me if I can just try to eat properly and avoid this medication. She doesn't know I am not taking, because asked me to be back to the Health Centre in two weeks time. How can I take this medication if I feel the most of symptons I've read on the side effects or when it says: Don't take Metfortmin if you have this or that...such as heart beating slow, dizziness, a lot of stress, no concentration, restless legs...no comfortable postion with my legs mainly in night times.,,,and in 2009 I had a mastectomy. I feel scafred. Don't wnat this Medication with a lot of side efects like Metformin. Please help me. I was feeling very good eating everything before I knew about the diabetes and I only knew that because I went to see a nutricionist because I was overweght...then she found it. NOW I feel terrible and week,,,after giving upo on my normal food. Now I only eat greens and browns. NOW I feel really bad...not beforte!!!!

You have not mentioned your age , life style, your blood sugar level ?
Anyway ,you need not worry . You can take 2nd opinion from COMPETENT doctor .
Gulping on medicines will not help cure on the contrary you suffer from side effects , unless you follow certain disciplined regimen .

Yes dear , meanwhile ,I suggest you to follow below regimen to enhance your immune system which gives resistance from diseases .

SIDE BY SIDE OF OTHER/ PRESENT TREATMENT Take some supplements rich in antioxidents which add to enhance power of metabolism and strengthen immune system to help you early recovery & prevention from further reoccurance
1. Take high fiber whole wheat flour / brown ricediets including all essential nutrients containing fruit - GUAVA ,PEARS - APPLE -,APRICOT PLUMS green leafy veges vitamins ,minerals, directly , as it reduce the risk of diabetes . a fiber-rich diet can decrease and eliminate constipation and hemorrhoids, it helps the stool pass through easily and decreases the burden of toxins reabsorbed into the body.
Avoid fried ,fast foods ,Tea, coffee ,Alcohol smoking ,mango ,banana & cheeku .

2. Take Mixture of extract of lemon , garlic , ginger , mooringa tree bark( sehjan tree) , vinegar of coconut water and stavia . 25 -35 ml is the dose

3. Bitter gourd has astounding health benefits. Bitter Gourd juice in the morning can help to strengthen your immune system and increase your body’s fighting power against infection and diseses as a whole .

4. Turmeric powder 1 t spoon with a cup of hot milk before B/F and at bed time . kills all kind of bacterias on mass bases gives resistance from disease

6. Take a T spoon of fenugreek powder with water in the morning .

dear lady, even if you starve , you can't bring your sugar under control . metformin is a very safe drug and the best first choice for diabetics. very rarely have I seen a patient complain that it causes bloating and a little diarrhoea but that s about it. lactic acidosis would mostly be seen in patients with renal failure who must not take the medicine.
