Can Change In Medicine Brand Cause Bloating And Trouble In Bowels?

i am on quinapril hydrochloride 10mg and for some reason the chemist has given me a different brand. the tablets i get now do not have a film coating and i am finding that i am very bloated and having trouble with my bowels because of this. is this normal

It is possible that different brands may cause slightly different side effects depending on the various ingredients used beside the active ingredient. I will suggest that you talk to your pharmacist so that he can try to dispense just that previous brand that has proven to be a lot more effective for you.
