General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Any chemicals can cause allergic reactions. Your problem can be due to the soap you used. Use hypoallergenic soaps. Taking antihistamines like cetrizine and applying histocalamine s will be helpful to clear up your present problem. If there is no improvement then a short course of corticosteroids like methyl prednisolone will be helpful. For this you can approach your GP. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
