Can Chemo Treatments Cure Cancer In Throat, Lungs And Bones?

My brother has cancer in the throat, lung and now bones in his buttock region, legs and one arm. He is doing radiation for the pain but it isn t helping much. He is also now taking oral chemo. I can t help but think his quality of life at this point might be better served if he doesn t take the chemo which is making him sick and they say it won t cure the cancer. When do you say enough.

HI,
Welcom to HCM.
Looking at the description you have given about the spread of the disease,
I guess, it is at very advance stage and a malignant propagating disease.
As far as, the therapy is concerned, it is mostly the combination therapy that is advised at such an advance stage, as chances of success is obviously more when we act on the disease from more dimensions that only one.
So, my suggestion would be to continue with this multidimensional approach.
Hope this helps.
