Can Chest Fluttering And Palpitation Be Related To Being Hypochondriac After Normal ECG And EKG?

I have been for years getting a fluttering in my chest and my pulse feels like what I feel in my chest. This only lasts for a second or two? Had an Echocardiogram 5 years ago and was normal. EKG's have been normal. I am a hypochrondriac so is this something to worry about. I didn't have an event when I was placed on Holter Monitor.

Hi,
You have had all the necessary investigations to rule out any serious conditions. Therefore, I agree with you that, as you are a hypochondriac, you are getting worried about symptoms unnecessarily.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
