my daughter is having fever from tuesday night. 99.1 dan 100.7 than today morning means thursday 101.8..now i chked around 12 noon.. m giving crosin in every 6 hrs.chked to the doc. he said its chest infection m giving azithral 200 from yesterdy..should i consult another doc. bcz fever is not that down..pls help
Hello, thanks for posting your query here. It is only the third day of fever, Crocin or any other fever relieving medicine has a duration of action of 4 to 6 hours only. What is more important than fever is the child s activity when there is no fever, feeding, comfortable breathing etc. If she has trouble with any of those, or has high grade fever (temperature more than 102 F) for more than 2 days from now, take her to see the doctor.
