Can Chest Pain Be Related To Anxiety?

I am 32 years old and having chest pains throughout the day and at night. Seems to be more worse at nihtbut not by much. Has lasted about a week and a half. Went to doctor today and my blood pressure was170/100. Extremely high but have been having a lot of anxiety. On meds for anxiety. He told me it was not heart related but it is still hard not not think it with my anxiety. My question is mt chest pains last most of the day sometimes and into the night.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Due to anxiety, you can have chest pain at any time of day. In that case, you should take low dose benzodiazepine on sos basis. You can also try some antidepressant or relaxation exercise to prevent further episode. Better to consult a psychiatrist for further management. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
