Can Chlamydia Go Undetected In A Pap Smear Test?

Can chlamydia go undetected in a pap smear one year and show up + on the next pap? My daughter is married, had a normal pap last year and was told today her pap was +. She says she has never had relationships of any kind outside of her marriage. Her husband is saying the same. Is it possible it was missed 2 years ago and just now detectible?

chlamydia specific treatment is ezythrocin500mg in morning for5days antibiotic isotretoin and laser treatment are other alternative it is possible so HIV test should be done may be it was dormant for some time and now manifesting it was in window period. now specific treatment for HIV may be started
