Can Chlamydia Infection Be Transmitted Through Protected Sex?
Me and my boyfriend had sex on July first and we both were tested positive for clyamdia and been tested for it a while back and found out that there was a hole in the condom and he nutted in me and I got checked on the 8th and my results came back negative but they said I have a bacteria infection I am super confused
Chlamydia infection cannot be transmitted by the protected test but when condom tears or fails you may get infected.
Chlamydia infection can be spread by kissing an infected person(saliva) or sharing drinking glasses.
It can be transmitted to your baby by childbirth if you are pregnant & infected.
You are suggested to get your partner & yourself examined, assessed, get STD tests done. Both of you should get properly treated. Do not indulge in sex with multiple partners.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
