Can Chlamydia Infection Damage Ovary And Fallopian Tube?
i am a 20 year old female and i have a few questions about chlamydia. i recently just had a cyst removed from my left ovary and i also have chlamydia and it damaged my ovary and fallopian tube and it caused pid. how fast or how agressive is chlamydia and could it have caused that in 2 months. before my surgery i was checked for infections and the doctor said i had a small infection but during the surgery he found that it was in my pelvic area and caused damange to my left side and said that it had been there for a while! i was tested twice last year and everything was negative so can doctors miss diagnose chlamydia for uti's or give a false negative on the tests? in between the test i had a uti and before both tests i had a few uti's so im kind of concered if it could have been diagnose is that possible or common?
