Can Cold, Hot Sweats, Itching And Mild Fever Be Symptoms Of Pneumonia?

I think I have pneumonia and I normally have a temp of 98.9. I am having cold and hot sweats and feel very achy. I'm coughing up mucous. I just took my temp because I just don't feel like myself a factually quite miserable. My temp is 96.6 orally. Is this a cause for concern?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
As symptoms are not severe, there is less likely of having pneumonia but might have lower respiratory tract infection.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days.
Take cough syrup as well.
Ok and take care.
