Can Collagen Supplements Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Hi! Im pregnant and belive that collagen is good for preventing striae alba (stretchmarks on my belly) during pregnancy. Can I continued to drink collagen 1000 mg per bottle while pregnant or can this do any harm to my unborn baby? Hee dink is called beauty drink from Thailand and is made from Sappe . Im in week 6. Yes, in theory, collagen is not significantly different than jello.
Two points, it either is like jello in which case go for the cheaper one. OR, as happens very commonly in the states, the collagen package does not comtain what it says it does. Then, it might be a problem. We've had scary drugs packaged into dietary supplements.
