Hi thanks for asking question... Noted you have chest pain with fever and chills... You have history of costochondritis , so yes it can lead pain and fever. Rest is done for it... But as you have fever with chills so it could be suggestive of acute viral infection of respiratory tract or acute bronchitis like condition if cough is present... At that time CBC has to be done to look for lymphocytosis or neutrophilia. Symptomatic management done.And if needed antibiotic given.... Just now you are recovering so no need for worry...
