Can Coughing Be Related To Residual Effect Of Infection?

I have a wheezing cough that originates from the base of my neck.....a tickle that causes me to cough routinely....particularly when I have nasal drainage....not sure whether it could be allergies or residual effect of infection - took antibiotics for two weeks to get rid of infection in throat....how do I get rid of this cough....seems to be getting lower into my lungs...

hello, thanks for your query, post nasal drip( secretions back of throat) could be due to sinusitis, provoking ur activated airways causing wheeze. do one ct para nasal sinuses , rule out d cause for sinusitis, relieve ur wheeze permenently.visit an ent surgeon for evaluation and treatment. all d best. take care.
