Can Cow S Milk Be Given To An Infant Of 6 Months?

Hi, My baby boy is completing 6 months...feeds mother milk only at the first month we tried dexolac 1 thinking mother milk may not sufficient for him....but he hates formula milk he even don t suckling the bottle...now I started solid food cerelac.... what solid food is preferable and which type of milk is safe for him.....can I feed normal milk and sugar for 6 months oled baby...Please help me out of this....

Dear mom of cute baby,
I appreciate you for exclusively breast feedimg your child for first 6 months, ehich is best for him. Now you can definitely start him on top feed, even cows milk with sugar.

Among the foods that you can give your infant, you can begin eith soft foods like cerelac, khichdi (lentils and rice boiled together), mashed vegetables, soft fruits like mashed banana, grapes, custard, curd, lassi etc. Avoid artificial milk as they arent very nourishing to the infants unless you add horlicks, bournvita like supplements to it. Do mixed feeding for now, then gradually wean off breast milk by 18 months of age.
