I am a 61 yr old diabetic female who has a defibrillator due to getting vtacs. I m very active, rarely ill. Today I was light-headed several times. I assumed that I am slightly dehydrated because I don t drink fluids like I should. I forced myself to drink a few bottles of water today. Just now I again, was light-headed, then all of a sudden it felt like I got an IV of hot liquid. I felt it go through my body, down to my feet and up to my face, with my ears and face flushing. Blood pressure s good and sugar is good. I still feel this heat across my shoulders face. I don t want to go to the ER if it s nothing because it will cost me $200 that I don t have, but I don t want to shrug it off either.
Dear friend, welcome to HCM, i have understood your problem, i think you need to consume more of fluids no doubts but in addition to this you have to take more of green leafy vegetables, and fruits which provide you the vitamins and minerals to prevent this kind of degeneative process and vascular problems... you go for a carotid dopler and ECG is ths pesris too long .... thank you
