Can Delay In Taking Microgynon Pill Cause Any Prob In IVF?

I WAS TO START TAKING MICROGYNON PILL TODAY FOR AN UPCOMING IVF PROCEDURE AND THEN I AM NOT ABLE TO TAKE THE PILL TODAY BECAUSE I HAD AN ABRUPT JOURNEY AND LEFT THE PILL BEHIND. CAN I STILL START TOMORROW? I REALLY WOULD LIKE NOT TO MISS THE PROCEDURE AS PLANNED. I AM WORRIED

Microgynonpill is a combined oral contraceptive . It prevents ovulation. You can start the pill as planned from tomorrow also, but I have not understood that if you are not conceiving and IVF is planned then why you need to take the pill.Thanks.
