Can Diabetic And Hypertensive Medications Be Taken Before An EGD Procedure?

I am scheduled for a EGD test tomorrow morning. My question is should I take the following medicines without food. I will nor T have food I am scheduled for EGD testing tomorrow morning. I am a type 2 diabetic on oral medicines. My question regards my medication. Should I take the following medicines without food? Metformin, Lisinopril, Invokana, Atorvastatin along with a Central Silver tablet. These are normally taken with food around 7am. I will not have food tomorrow until around noon. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Janet

Good day and thank you for posting this question. No, you don't need to take your drugs. You can postpone till after the procedure. The procedure requires you not to take anything by mouth. Use your drugs at noon, after the procedure.
