Can Distaclor 187mg Be Used Instead Of Oflox Syrup 100mg For Chest Congestion And Cough For A 4 Years Old Child?
My 4 year old is having chest congestion & cough. Doctor had prescribed Oflox syrup 100 mg & bricanyl.
I just read here Ofloxacin is used in kids only when absolutely essential ..since safety in children less than 18 years of age has not been established.... can distaclor 187mg (used by us on earlier ocassions) be given to the kid as an alternative alongwith bricanyl.

HI. Indeed you can replace oflox with Distaclor 187 along with Bricanyl.. Steam inhalations do help more.
