Can Distended Esophagus Be Deflated By Adjusting The LAP Band?

i had a lapband on 10.07.13 and in the last few months i have the feeling of fullness. Had a MRI done last Tuesday and the found my Esophagus is full of food extending from the stomach into the neck. Said esophagus is distended to more than 6 centimeters. Can opening the band take care of the problem if not what should be my next step. My last fill was in the summer of 2016.

In my opinion removal of band &needful esophageal dilatation would mostly reverse esophageal activity. Please consult your bariatric surgeon.
