Can Diverticulitis Cause Right-sided Pain In The Back And Lower Ribs?

Four days of ( not sharp pains) discomfort in back on right side just under lower ribs. Dr thought it might be kidney or gallbladder but CT scan, urine and blood work has come back normal. I have gas and have had some loose bowls and lack of appetite. I do not believe it is a pulled muscle etc. as discomfort does not increase with movement. I am wondering if it could be diverticulitis. I am a 68 year old female

Your query being appreciated I have gone through the history given here and I could say that the symptoms that you have could be due to acid peptic disease (Hyperacidity) if I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 10 mg once in day for five weeks try to avoid the heavy meal, spicy meal, coffee, alcohol, smoking, prior to bed, have more vegetable diet, drink more water, hope this information helps.
